Steel Piles

Driven steel piles are installed where pile of high load bearing capacities are required in soft or wet ground, through areas of uncontrolled fill eg. car bodies etc or for temporary structures.

Steel piles can be raked to an angle and driven to a depth up to 40m; splicing of piles can be done to additional lengths of pile. A steel pile creates minimal displacement and are mainly end bearing piles.

A steel pile can be coated with protective coating of zinc oxide, galvanised or can be given cathodic protection for corrosion resistance and extending life durability.
