Reinforced Concrete Piles
Spiral Drillers Civil has the ability to construct reinforced concrete piles in diameters from 300mm to 3600mm, and depths to 42m. Deep piles are constructed using our specialist fleet of drilling rigs. Small and shallow piles can be constructed with pendulum rigs.
Bored piles can be belled to up to 3600mm diameter with a special belling tool.
Grooving of piles can be achieved to the project specification.
Boreholes can be supported by temporary or permanent casings as per soil conditions; casing for all diameters can be installed and advanced ahead of drilling works using our various vibratory hammers.
In wet soil with high ground water levels, drilling can done using mineral (bentonite) or polymer slurries.
