Spiral Drillers was founded in 1971 by present Research and Development Manager, Brian Hannah.
As with so many kiwi businesses, the growth of Spiral Drillers began with one enthusiastic man and his wife.
Business expanded as the small company gained in reputation and Brian saw opportunities to provide a better service and superior end product.
With the growth of the company under Andrew Hannah and Jon Faber's leadership the emphasis is now on difficult, large or specialised drilling and piling applications.
A key factor in the companies’ growth and success has been innovation.
When confronted with a major on-site obstacle the company has typically responded by designing and constructing its own specialised equipment to do the job. It is clear that the “Kiwi ingenuity” which built this country is well and truly alive in the Spiral Drillers team.
